The Subaru 360 (1958-1971), Tomica 2015



The Subaru 360 (1958-1971), Tomica 2015 New Year Lucky Draw Version, was made in Vietnam in the year 2014 by Takara Tomy Co., Ltd. It measures 6.1 cm in length and is at a 1:50 scale.

This Daihatsu 360 metal car model was specially produced to commemorate the New Year of 2015. This set of metal cars comprises six designs, each featuring two color variations: red and white. The selection box (Lucky Draw) for this metal car cannot be opened. Among the six designs, one showcases a white Noh design with Japanese children's graphics. It features a silver-bronze metal underbelly, clear glass, and a golden-bronze interior. The front hood can be opened and closed.

It is in new condition and comes in a specially designed box. This Subaru 360 metal car model is considered a classic in Japan, with only a few in production, making it challenging to find for purchase. This presents a great opportunity to buy one without having to win a lottery. See more

This No. 108 diecast car had a relatively short production period, lasting about three years, starting in 1998 to replace the original No. 108 model, and then production ceased in 2001, when it was replaced with a fire truck model. As a result, there are not many No. 108 cars in circulation, making them quite rare in the market among collectors. See more

 

Basil Brush's Car

 



Basil Brush's Car, Corgi No. 808, was made in England by Mettoy Playcraft in the year 1971. It measures 9.5 cm long. 

The die-cast car, featured in the children's TV show Basil Brush, is red with yellow metal mudguards. It showcases a fox sitting on the car. This particular model is a 1910 Renault diecast car, numbered 9031, with a clear windshield and gold lamp. The bottom of the car is made of yellow metal. This die-cast model car is produced under license by television creators Ivan Owen and Peter Fermin.

Basil Brush aired on the BBC from 1963 to 2007 and remains one of the most popular children's series. It is also one of the longest-running programs on the BBC.

The Corgi Basil Brush diecast car had an impressive sales record, with up to 187,000 units sold during its short two-year production run. However, production of Basil Brush's Car was discontinued in 1973, in contrast to the TV show that has been on the air for over 40 years.See more
