SIKU 1/55 MERCEDES BENZ ACTROS
In the big 1/55th scale series we can expect a nine-axle extending boom mobile crane, which should complement the two earlier lattic mast outfits released over the last couple of years. To complete the heavy haulage side there is a Mercedes Benz Actros tractor hauling a new five axle draw-bar low loader with O&K bucket loader for cargo. Shop here

SIKU 1/55 LINDE H80 FORK LIFT TRUCK
The Linde H80 Fork Lift truck, in the usual 1/55th scale range, is a superb piece of kit and it will not look out of place alongside any other 1/50th scale models in your collection.
Siku have excelled themselves and produced a model costing just a few pounds that is equal to those 'other' German promotionals which cost three or four times the price. Using their now standard 'truck' wheels and tyres, which are pretty good for a toy, the Fork Lift is beautifully decorated and well put together. It can also be operated without the fear of breaking the tiny and vulnerable rams often associated with 'promotional' models. Shop here

PICK OF THE CROP
Siku have become specialists in agricultural harvesters of late, releasing sugar beet, potato, grape and combine harvesters, but their new forage harvester must be the best harvester to date. Priced more like a toy than a collectable, this forage harvester puts many much more expensive models to shame. The 1/32 scale John Deere 7500 self propelled forage harvester, fitted with a detachable eight row maize header, is loaded with detail and includesa glazed cab, opening engine compartments which reveal a detailed engine and a steerable knob over the engine compartment for the carpet farmer to steer this impressive machine. THE CLASS LEXION 480 COMBINE HARVESTER
The class Lexion 480 combine harvester in the 1/32 nd scale Siku Farmer Series is a totally revamped version of a model released several years ago. At first glance, it is noticeable the decals are different and in keeping with the latest release from Class. The operator cab has been fully glazed and includes a driver. More detail has been incorporated into the header, by the way of end guard covers, and the overall finish is much improved with many small extras, including rear view mirrors. Shop here

SIKU 1/55 MERCEDES 'FAUN' REFUSE TRUCK
This is a very nice model of a Mercedes Benz-mounted 'Faun' refuse truck. The 'business end' of the model has a revolving 'compactor', lifting rear end, sliding inner wall, tipping body and, of course, a 'wheelie' bin. It has great 'play' value and it really quite good looking -change the plastic wheels and do a little judicious detailing and this could pass for a much more expensive diecast. Shop here

SIKU 1/55 MEGA LIFTER
Siku is a quality heavy duty mobile crane. The end of 1999 saw the release of the Siku Mega Lifter in 1/55th scale. This quite remarkable toy would be something for any child to cherish, as it is, it is a quality model and a worthy addition to any collection.
The three stage telescopic boom extends to 97cm which makes this particular crane one of Siku's largest to date. With lockable rams and manual winding of the cable are among many of the working features.
The operator cab extends outwards for better vision swivelling through 360 degrees with the boom. The lorry chassis has been used before on other model mobile cranes, which features extendible outriggers with levelling feet. Overall an excellent model from Siku. Buy it now
