FERRAI 250 CALIFORNIAN

The Art Model 250 Californian is a marvelous looking car in 1957 Stradale red. The interior of the model features picked-out window winders and handles. There's chrome badging and an etched grille, and all the other details we expect. Odd, though, that the door handles should be a rather smudgy silver tampo print amongst all this excellence. ELVIS PRESLEY THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL'S FERRARI DINO 308 GT4

Ferrari's family of immensely successful V8 road cars began in 1973 with the Dino 308 GT4. This V8-engine road car and first mid-engine 2+2 seating configuration, was styled by Bertone rather than the customary Pininfarina, the styling was incredibly unique and controversial for its time, with its angular wedge shape, it looked quite differently from the 206/246 from which it was derived. The overall shape was very tight and well balanced, and has stood the test of time very well. Elvis, one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century, the 'King of Rock and Roll,' a cultural icon, in October 1976 decided to include in his huge collection of super cars a Dino 308 GT4 black. A great die-cast model for a worldwide known artist! Shop here

KYOSHO 1/18 FERRARI 250 GTO DIECAST MODEL CAR

Ferrari 250 GTO Diecast Model Car 1/18 Black Die Cast Car by Kyosho

The 250 GTO was designed to compete in GT racing. It was based on the 250 GT SWB. Chief engineer Giotto Bizzarrini installed the 3.0 L V12 engine from the 250 Testa Rossa into the chassis from the 250 GT SWB and worked with designer Sergio Scaglietti to develop the body. After Bizzarrini and most other Ferrari engineers were fired in a dispute with Enzo Ferrari, development was handed over to new engineer Mauro Forghieri, who worked with Scaglietti to continue development of the body, including wind tunnel and track testing. Unlike most Ferraris, it was not designed by a specific individual or design house. The rest of the car was typical of early-1960s Ferrari technology: hand-welded tube frame, A-arm front suspension, live-axle rear end, disc brakes, and Borrani wire wheels. The five-speed gearbox was new to Ferrari GT racing cars; the metal gate that defined the shift pattern would become a tradition that is still maintained in current models. The interior was extremely basic, to the point where a speedometer was not installed in the instrument panel. Many of its switches came from the Fiat 500, and it was said that as the car was rushed into production, the original cloth seats were made from workers' overalls.

This model has the following features: Open Door, Hood, Trunk,Has Steerable Wheels.Workable Steering Wheel.Rubber Tires.Made of Diecast With Some Plastic Parts. The Interior is Extremely Detailed.

BEST MODELS 1/43 FERRARI 330 P2

This is the Ferrari 330 P2 V12 from the 1965 Le Mans 24 Hours race, driven by Mike Parkes and Jean Guichet with race number 20. This combination had the sad misfortune to become the final retirement in the 1965 race when they dropped out only 45 minutes from the end, their gearbox expiring from overuse after compensating due to lack of breaks earlier. The model is an accurate portrayal, right down to the alloy wheels with 'knock-off' spinners. The only inaccurate detail noted is the lack of black 'rubber' trim surrounding the headlights.
