Matchbox Battle King No. K 108 A – M3A1 Half Track

Matchbox Battle King No.K 108 A – M3A1 Half Track diecast car was manufactured by Lesney in England in 1974.

The Battle King is a die-cast military vehicle, larger than Series 75, produced by Lesney. It was first introduced in 1974. The initial color used was metallic green; however, later models adopted a green hue that more closely resembled the real thing. Production of this Battle King diecast car model ceased in 1980, resulting in a total production run of only 19-20 models.

This Half Track was part of the first generation, produced in metallic green with a brown cargo roof, a metal front bumper in metallic gray, and a metallic gray metal bottom. It features clear glass and, inside the tailgate, there are two rows of seats in a tan color. The rear wheels sport beautiful rubber tires on the 8 wheels that can actually spin. Additionally, the cover is removable, and there are black stickers on the hood cover and both sides of the pickup truck. Spare fuel tanks are situated at the front on both sides. This car was manufactured in 11 different colors and was exclusively produced in the UK. The most valuable paint variant is the Metallic Green with Tan Rubber Belt. See more
