The original Routemaster Bus was designed in the early 1950’s and some fifty years after its first appearance, almost 1,000 examples of this famous London Bus still exist in the British Isles.
Routemaster Double Decker Bus, “BTA” (British Travel Association) “London Transport”, by Corgi Toys; MRN C469, issued in 1975 and currently available. The decal on the upper side reads “BTA Welcome to Britain”, with a Union Flag motif; and “London Transport” on its lower side. This model is common-but a variant bearing a label advertising the James Bond film “Octopussy” on one side only, is extremely rare.
