YAT MING 1/18 - 1948 FORD F-1 PICK UP TRUCK WITH FLATBED COVER

This is a good model. Very wellmade. But could have had a little more attention to detail done on the engine. The tailgate, doors, hood all open. And the steering works. But the Engine detail is really lacking. Would be a good starter model. For some one just getting into the hobby. The Interior is well detailed. And the Tanua cover can be removed or left on the model. Which ever you prefer.
Is a nice shelf model? And could have been made a lot better. If a little more attention to detail was paid to the engine. like Fan belts. Sparkplug wires. Batterie cables. All of which are not present under the hood. --Thomas A. Goodwin  Shop here

Makes a great gift for anyone who graduated in 1956, or collectors of any age. --Marcie Bovetz

YAT MING 1:18 - 1932 FORD 3-WINDOW COUPE

Return to the era of gangsters and rumble seats in this 1:18 scale model of a 1932 Ford coupe. The doors open (with hinges at the back, not the front), the rumble seat pops up for those quick getaways down Chicago back alleys, and the hinged sides of the engine cowling lift up for engine inspection. Whitewall tires and lots of gold trim jazz up the black exterior. The die-cast metal body is extremely solid, although the plastic accessories, such as turn indicators and headlight assembly, could easily be broken by a small child with an aggressive driving style. --Richard Farr  Shop here

Triumph's elegant Herald was styled by Italian Giovanni Michelotti and launched in April 1959, priced at £495 in saloon form. The car modelled, WOY 660, was built on August 24th 1959 and dispatched on 3rd September to Mr Frank Carr, of the influential Triumph dealership 'Carr's Auto Sales', for his personal use. MATCHBOX YESTERYEAR No.YRS-01-1955 CHEVY 3100, “AAA” TOWING & SERVICE

The American Automobile Association (AAA) was founded in 1902 to serve the nation’s travelers. In the nearly 95 years since its inception, the number of vehicles on American highways has grown dramatically, and AAA has always responded to the challenge. One thing every driver needs is reliable road service when a vehicle breaks down. Sometimes AAA can service a car right at the sight by changing a tire, filling the gas tank, or charging a battery. But there are times when the automobile must be taken into the shop. That’s when the AAA Towing and Service vehicle has always been essential. In the ‘50s, the Sunset Gasoline service station’s Towing and Service truck was just such a vehicle. The station was part of the wide AAA network, and its truck came to the relief of motorrists with in its jurisdiction. After inspecting the problem and determining that the car must be towed, the mechanic used the powerful towing winch to bring the car back to the station where it was given the quality repair service that has always been a trademark of AAA. And now, the AAA Towing and Service vehicle 1955 Chevy 3100 is part of The Fabulous Fifties Road Service Collection. It has been crafted in die-cast metal by Matchbox Collectibles—“the Greatest Name in Die-Cast”

MATCHBOX YESTERYEAR No.YRS-02 – 1953 FORD F100 FLYING “A” TIRE SERVICE

A blowout is one of the most frightening occurrences that can happen on the open road because it usually comes without warning and makes the car difficult to handle. With hands firmly on the steering wheel, the driver must pull the wobbly automobile to the shoulder of the road, getting out to examine the damage to take care of this upsetting driving hazard was the Flying A Tire Service vehicle which was prepared for any type of tire repair. Fitted with a full rack of spare tires, an air tank with a pressure gauge, a  hydraulic jack and airhose, this service vehicle was capable of fixing or replacing tires, safely and quickly. At one time, the Flying A symbol a stylized winged A—was one of the most recognizable gas company logos. It was a symbol of quality and service and, for the traveler stranded on the side of a road, it was a sure sign that the car would soon be up and ready and cruising down the highway. And now the Flying ‘A’ Tire Service 1953 Ford F100 is part of The Fabulous Fifties Road Service Collection. It has been crafted in die-cast metal by Matchbox Collectibles—“the Greast Name in Die-Cast.”

CORGI 1/50 LAND ROVER 'CHIPPERFIELD'S CIRCUS'

The Chipperfield's Circus models has arrived, and a very pleasing addition it is too. It is the Land Rover as a public address vehicle to announce the arrival of the circus to town. Apart from the familiar red and blue colour scheme, and the provision of two loudspeakers, the model comes with two white metal clowns.

These figures will certainly make the display come to life, being delightful figures, carefully hand painted. Playing his familiar trumpet is a model representative of that famous 'musical' clown Charlie Cairoli, while about to drench anyone within reach with a bucket of water is a model representing one of the 'slapstick' greats, Professor Grimble. It is worth mentioning again that these figures are hand-painted, and look extremely effective. Shop here

ERTL 1/18 1970 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS SX DIECAST MODEL CAR

1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX Diecast Car Model 1/18 Die Cast Car Elite Edition by ERTL

The history of Oldsmobile was a rollercoaster ride that lasted for 107 years and then quietly ended in 2004 but their legacy lives on as diecast model cars. The Oldsmobile Cutlass became America's best seller in 1976 with a lot of popularity based on rave reviews about its Rocket V8 engine. They may be gone for good, but your diecast muscle car collection will keep it remembered forever.

The 1970 Cutlass came in seven body styles with this being a beautiful 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX Diecast Model. With GM tossing out the 400 cubic inch limit for intermediates and the 442 now coming standard with the larger 455 cubic inch Rocket V8 from the big Oldsmobiles and previously used in the 1968-69 Hurst/Olds, Olds discontinued the 400 engine entirely and also offered the 455 as an option in the Cutlass S models.
