MINICHAMPS 1/18 FORD CAPRI

This Minichamps Ford Capri is good outside, and great inside. The model itself is pretty good, with superb radiator and side grilles, individual, coloured glazed lights, tiny badging and other nice touches.

But it's the interior that is truly remarkable. That stylish Capri steering wheel, the wood grain dash used on top Capris, brilliant continental armrest door pulls, chrome-effect door handles and ribbed panelling for the door sides, and on the seats, all combine transport you straight back to the days when a Capri was a desirable car. This is one of the new Minichamps range of classic British cars and is right-hand drive. Shop here

SCHUCO 1/43 MAN 10.210 TRUCK

MAN traces its origins back to 1758, when the St. Antony ironworks commenced operation in Oberhausen, Germany, the first heavy-industry in the Ruhr region. In 1908 after a number of acquisitions, the company was renamed Maschinenfabrik Augsburg Nurnberg AG, or MAN. The corporate predecessors of MAN were responsible for numerous technological innovations, including cooperation in the development of the diesel engine. By 1924, the company showed its first diesel truck at the Berlin Motor Show. After WWII, MAN shifted focus to commercial vehicles and became famous for its line of trucks, from delivery vans to heavy-hauling over-the-road rigs. See more

BRUMM MERCEDES BENZ 300 SLR (TARGA FLORIO CAR)

Brumm no. R189 is Fangio's car, number 112, from the 1955 Targa Florio, while R190 is the 300SLR which with Stirling Moss, with navigator Dennis Jenkinson, scored his famous victory in the Mille Miglia, one of only two occassions that a non-Italian car won the 1,000 mile road race. This model has a double fairing for driver and navigator. Brumm later introduced a limited edition model of the 1955 Targa Florio-winning machine of Collins and Moss (no.S034). SCHUCO 1:43 MERCEDES-BENZ 170V TEXACO DELIVERY VAN

The 170V was first displayed by Mercedes Benz at the 1936 Berlin Motor Show and enjoyed a production from 1935 to 1941. It provided the basis for the resumption of Mercedes car production following WWII because its tooling has escaped destruction. The Pre-War 170V was produced in several models, a Cabrio-Limo, Cabriolet A and B models, and a very rare Roadster. The 170V continued in 1947, with the 170D and S models being produced. The 170S was introduced at the Hanover show in 1949 and was based on pre-war designs. That same year, Cabriolet versions of the 170S were also introduced but production ended in 1951. In 1953, S-D and S-V versions were introduced, and although their production was limited, they were actually stripped-down models of the S. The 170 sedan series ended in 1955. Shop here

BEST MODELS 1/43 FERRARI 330 P2

This is the Ferrari 330 P2 V12 from the 1965 Le Mans 24 Hours race, driven by Mike Parkes and Jean Guichet with race number 20. This combination had the sad misfortune to become the final retirement in the 1965 race when they dropped out only 45 minutes from the end, their gearbox expiring from overuse after compensating due to lack of breaks earlier. The model is an accurate portrayal, right down to the alloy wheels with 'knock-off' spinners. The only inaccurate detail noted is the lack of black 'rubber' trim surrounding the headlights.
