Tomica No.109 - Event Car (Georgia Coffee)

 

 

Diecast Car Model Tomica No.109 - Event Car (Georgia Coffee), made in China by Tomy around 1997-2000.

The Event Car was custom-made for Georgia Coffee (a subsidiary company of Coca-Cola). It is blue with a white roof. The rear of the car is shaped like a Georgia Coffee can that can be opened and closed on the side. The side door features a printed Georgian Coffee logo.

The Event Car was initially introduced in 1997 as a Bailey orange juice car. Subsequently, various types were released, including Itoen tea and chocolate smarties, for different special occasions. Even though it transitioned to a Toyota Crown model in 2003.

This Checker cab was produced in two periods: from 2003 to 2009 and then reproduced from 2015 to 2016. In total, there are about 10 different designs, colors, and wheels.

This yellow Checker Cab was manufactured in 2005. The only difference from the first model produced in 2004 is the wheels, which feature different designs.

Checker taxis were associated with a real company in the United States, founded in the 1920s. The first used car was the Morris Makrin, before they started producing their own brand, the Taxicab. The last used car produced was the Taxicab AII before the company went out of business in 1982.

Days Gone is a brand produced by Lledo, founded in England in 1982 by Matchbox founder John Odell. The name "Lledo" is a reversal of John's last name.

The 1920 Model T Ford DG6 die-cast car was produced in approximately 149 different brands, colors, and finishes. It was the most produced model from 1983 until 1998 and marked the final model for the Days Gone Collectors Association.

This car is red and green and features an advertisement for sale of Golden Shred marmalade. It has wheel hubs with metal spokes and removable tires.
