CORGI 1/50 TRIUMPH TR4 - SIGNAL RED

The TR4's gestation was slowed by too many ambitious plans that ultimately proved to be distractions, the most obvious being the 'Sabrina' twin-cam TRS, which was originally to have been the basic for Triumph's new sports car.

When finally launched in 1961, the TR4 used a modified version of the TR3s well proven 88 inch wheelbase chassis, but with a wider track, new rack and pinion steering, and the previously optional 147cc larger engine. Its smart new Michelotti designed body was much more civilized than its predecessor's and featured wind up windows, a very efficient fresh air ventilation system and Triumph's unique removable 'Surrey Top'. CORGI 1/76 DOUBLE BALLOON TRAM - HMS COASTGUARD

The Blackpool Corporation tramway opened on 29th September 1885, becoming the first electric street tramway seen in Britain. In 1898, The Blackpool and Fleetwood Electric Tramroad Company built a separate line and started running a tramroad service from Fleetwood to Blackpool North Railway Station before its take-over in 1920 by Blackpool Corporation.
Since bus deregulation in 1986, the trams and buses have been operated by Blackpool Transport Services Ltd., a subsidiary of Blackpool Council. The tramway infrastructure is now owned by Blackpool Council, while the trams themselves are owned and operated by Blackpool Transport. By 2010, the Tramway will have been operating for 125 years and this particular tram for half of those.
Every model in The Original Omnibus Company is recreated in 1:76 scale and includes a numbered, Limited Edition certificate. The range includes both modern and classic buses and coaches from some of the best known British manufactures and operators. Shop here

HOT WHEELS - THUNDER ROLLER 1983

The racing truck was powerful sounding Thunder Roller. This was a cabover (forward control) truck with an aerodyne cab and large sleeper compartment. Although not named as such, it was pretty obviously a Kenworth. It was painted yellow with an eagle and ribbon motif on the sides. Thunder Roller disappeared for several years, until it was revived in 1996 in an attractive metallic red colour scheme. --Diecast Collector  Shop here
