MATCHBOX REGULAR WHEEL NO.40A BEDFORD 'S' TYPE 17-TON TIPPER
The ‘S’ type cab was again used with the 7 ton Tipper, no.40a. The cab was painted red but the tipper changed from pale to light brown as time went on. Metal wheels gave way to plastic and both the size of wheel and tread pattern can vary, but there were no major casting modifications made to this truck.

CORGI - FAUN STREET SWEEPER
This model was based on a basic German street sweeper as produced by Faun. The model had an outstanding rotating side gulley brush as well as a rotating roller brush. A simulated flexible hose held by an operator was also included with the model. The figure was moulded in Orange and was unpainted.
DINKY - JOHNSTON ROAD SWEEPER
Catalogue No.7 proclaimed this model New for 1971. It has a complicated mechanism and in Dinky's own words features 'Rotating horizontal and vertical brushes' and a 'Swivelling simulated suction pipe'. It was produced in the normal right hand drive format although the real thing often used left hand drive to enable the driver to better align along the nearside kerb.
This model first appeared with a white front grille, before being changes to silver, and is most commonly seen with an version was produced as a promotional model for the Johnston Company.
