1954 SCENICRUISER

Introduced in 1987 all the components were designed specifically for this model. The body consists of a single casting into which is inserted a smoky grey Perspex window section, being the first and to date the only Lledo to have the luxury of glazing. The body is supported on a metal chassis with the axles being held in place by a plastic baseplate. The wheels are single moulded hubs and tyres with the legend Lledo  embossed on the outer walls. These wheels can also be found on the DG15 & 17. Withdrawn from standard range at the end of 1990.

CORGI 1/50 MINI 7 RACING CLUB - CHRISTOPHER HUCK

Ever since the Mini was introduced nearly 42 years ago, it's been the hub of motor sport in the UK, with many dedicated racing series instigated. The Mini Seven Formula is one of the more gentle Mini racing series, although these 100bhp cars can still sprint to 60mph in seven seconds and push speeds up to 120mph. This limited edition Corgi model (5500 pieces) pays tribute to 29 year old Christopher Huck, who in 1997 followed his father's footsteps into Mini racing. Shop here

HOT WHEEL 1/43 JORDAN EJ10 MUGEN - HONDA 2000 F1 - JARNO TRULLI

This will be a popular model, as next to Ferrari, Jordan is seen by many Formula 1 followers as the 'Team of the People'. In 1999 the Jordan team had finished third in the constructor's title race. The future looked bright, but their arrangement to use works Honda units, promised to BAR, was not the materialise until this year. This saw the team slip to sixth place in the constructor's race. The model carries racing number 6 and new team signing Jarno Trulli is the driver. Trulli's best result last season was a fourth place in Brazil, while Frentzen, whose car is also available, was on the podium twice in third place. 2000 sponsorship is from Deutsche Telekom, as well  the striking 'Buzzin Hornets' livery, carried in non-smoking French and British races.
All of the models include driver figures wearing their race helmets in correct colours, even Micheal Schumacher, who changed his helmet colours for the 2000 season. There is working steering and opening fuel fi;;er flaps on each side of the driver's cockpit.
The tyres carry the grooves specified by the 2000 regulations. Each carries the Bridestone 'Potenza' white branding markings accurately on every sidewall. In 2001 Michelin return to the fray. --Model Collector  See more

CORGI 1/50 AEC TANKER 'MAJOR'

The model for 1995 was the AEC cab with an elliptical tanker in the livery of Major, who were suppliers of gasolines and oils in the North East and Midlands. The livery, in a combination of blue, orange, white and brown, is certainly colourful, and makes for a pleasing model, helped by the fact that the tanker itself is painted and thus is not obviously made of plastic.
